** Back to work plan following the COVID -19 Pandemic **

 

I understand you may have concerns when returning to me for your treatments, so I have outdone myself in preparing my business for you!! Although things will be a little different I am still offering the same warm, friendly, unhurried and luxurious treatments.

So far I have:

  • Cleaned and disinfected the room and all surfaces and implements.

  • Laundered and disinfected all towels and linens.

  • Removed all non essential items throughout the business.

  • Stored all products that I use or for sale away in cupboards or in plastic cleanable boxes.

  • Acquired appropriate personal protective equipment e.g. hand sanitizer, masks, gloves, aprons and face shields.

  • Discontinued the practice of hand shaking and other non essential contact.

  • Re-trained on essential infection control and hand hygiene practices

 

In May 2020 in preparation for returning to work I completed 2 online Training courses with BARBICIDE®. The first certificate was correct sanitation and disinfection practices and procedures consistent with the current highest industry standards.

The second is the BARBICIDE® COVID-19 certification for the Professional Beauty Industry.

 

BARBICIDE® is known worldwide as the ultimate product for EPA registered disinfection in salons, barbershops and spas.

 

When I do open my doors there will be new rules and guidelines we need to follow:

 

  • Please do NOT attend your appointment if you have any symptoms of COVID-19 or feel unwell.

 

  • I would prefer if you could come to your appointment straight from home, hands washed/sanitised (no gloves) and wearing a face mask.

 

  • The bathroom will be out of bounds but in an emergency the separate toilet can be used.

 

  • On entering the salon you will sanitise your hands and place your bag and shoes in a basket and glasses and car keys on a tray, which will be cleaned & disinfected between clients.

 

  • I will be wearing a mask, apron and face-shield, I have gloves but will also wash & sanitise my hands between each treatment.

     

  • I will have to leave ample time for cleaning in-between my appointments so would appreciate if clients could have all their required treatments together, and be prompt.
